3.      MINUTES OF LAST PARISH COUNCIL MEETING

To approve the minutes of the Parish Council meeting held on 9th February 2009

4.      SUSPENSION OF THE MEETING FOR PUBLIC QUESTION TIME

The meeting will be suspended to allow members of the public to speak to the Council. No decisions can be made by the Council during public question time. After this period the meeting will be resumed.

6.      ITEMS FOR CONSIDERATION

6.1       To receive an update on the playground project, to discuss location and to agree a draft submission to KDC for the S106 monies

6.2       To consider the options presented by the solicitor with regard to the use of the Parish field for allotments

6.3       To discuss the Parish improvement grants and consider applying for a grant **

6.4       To consider entering the Best Kept Village Competition 2009

6.5       To consider entering the Calor Wiltshire Village of the Year Competition 2009

6.6       To note that 3 places have been reserved for Councillors on the New Councillors training day, to confirm which Councillors will be attending and to approve any associated costs

6.7       To receive a report on the Marlborough Pilot Area Board and to consider nominating a representative to attend future meetings **

6.8       To discuss issues with the clearance of snow from the roads and to consider what action to take

6.9       To note any land maintained by Highways and to confirm that this should be excluded from the grass cutting contract 

6.10   To consider a request from the clerk for her Christmas holiday to be allocated against unused holiday entitlement for the period November 2007 – November 2008

6.11   To confirm a hard copy of the clerk's signed Contract of Employment is filed in the Parish Council file and to record the clerk’s start date of employment

6.12   To consider adding an agenda item to future meetings for the Council to consider priority tasks for the clerk

7.4       To consider a response to the consultation on Statement of Sex Establishment Policy and Regulations for Wiltshire Council. Deadline 4 March 2009. **

7.5       To consider a response to the Communities in Control: Real people, real power, Consultation on Code of recommended practice on local authority publicity. Deadline 12 March 2009. **
